The foreign born population works at a rate of 63.26% in June 2026, the native born at only 58.25%

Foreign born workers numbered 30.725 million, native born 131.997 million.

To get native born employment to 63.26% of their own population in June 2026 would require an extra 11.351 million native born suddenly to get jobs.

The best estimates of current illegal alien presence in the United States range between 11 million and 13.7 million.

The percentage of the native born population working continues to fall because it is aging. The share of the 55s and over who work continues to fall, now down to 35.77% of their cohort.

There are just 26 million people aged 25-54 in the United States who are currently not working. That's where they'd have to come from, a tall order.

Roberts, Sotomayor, Kagan, Barrett, Jackson, and Kavanaugh in part, rule that children born here to foreigners unlawfully or temporarily present are citizens

In 6-3 Ruling, Court Strikes Down Trump's EO on Birthright Citizenship

... Held: Children born in the United States to parents unlawfully or temporarily present are “subject to the jurisdiction” of the United States and are citizens at birth under the Fourteenth Amendment’s Citizenship Clause. ...

Oh gee what a coincidence lol

Trump says he is nominating former Oklahoma state trooper Lance Schroyer as ICE director

... Schroyer hails from the same home state as the new Department of Homeland Security Secretary Markwayne Mullin, a former congressman. ...

Mullin: "I know a guy".

Trump: "Good. He's in".

Trump will never master personnel.

I sure hope he turns out better than the pool guy!

Meanwhile the foreign born population level, which counts without respect to citizenship status, is still higher than when Trump was elected in November 2024.

That deportation thingy in Trump II is going about as well as The Wall went during Trump I.

Two tier Keir calls it quits after the biggest Labour victory in decades in July 2024, had said he wouldn't and would fight

Joe Biden was once king of the heap, too, until his enemies to the left pushed him off.

That's the story in the UK, too, which CNBC doesn't tell you.

Socialist Andy Burnham led the rebellion against Starmer from within the Labour Party.

Burnham is a self-described enemy of British nationalism.

UK PM Starmer resigns as Britain faces its seventh leader in 10 years

... Keir Starmer’s resignation comes almost 10 years to the day since the U.K. voted to leave the European Union. His successor will be the country’s seventh leader in that period, underscoring how political and economic turmoil continue to unsettle British politics long after the Brexit process was concluded.

... Starmer’s government was ultimately weakened by dwindling poll ratings, Labour infighting and growing public frustration over its failure to deliver quickly on growth and the cost of living. ...

Trump signs $70 billion immigration funding bill after months of delay

... Democrats had refused to fund the two Department of Homeland Security subagencies since January, when an immigration surge in Minneapolis led to the deaths of two U.S. citizens at the hands of federal agents. ... The Senate advanced the immigration funding package on Friday on a 52-47 vote, with no Democrats voting in favor. The House followed on Tuesday, approving the package 214-212, also with no Democratic support. ...

Kilmar Abrego Garcia is a free man

Judge dismisses criminal charges against Kilmar Abrego Garcia in human trafficking case: A federal judge wrote that the investigation against Abrego in Tennessee was reopened to justify the administration’s decision to deport him to El Salvador

... Sean Hecker, Abrego’s attorney, said that his client “is a victim of a politicized, vindictive White House and its lawyers at what used to be an independent Justice Department. We are so pleased that he is a free man. Justifiably so.” ...

In 2023 Trump claimed 15 million illegals were in America, then in 2024 he upped it to 16 and 18 million, and then finished the year at 21 million, and now it's 25 million

For a decade from 2009-2019 illegal aliens in the United States were widely estimated at 11 million.

In April 2026 the foreign born civilian noninstitutional population over the age of 16 is 49.66 million, 6.14 million more than in April 2019 and down 780k from the March 2025 high.

Many millions of illegals will remain after Trump is gone, because he is neither serious nor competent.

Trump: I Call Open Borders "Stupid Borders"--"25 Million People Came Into Our Country"

At 24.13%, foreign born employment as a percent of native born employment is still far higher in April 2026 under Trump II than it ever was under Trump I

Trump's dumbass, incompetent deportation policy of prolonged ICE detention until they cry uncle and leave voluntarily is the mouse that roared

At this rate Trump will have to be president for 138 years to deport 9.5 million illegal aliens.

80k voluntary departures in fourteen months is a drop in the bucket when there are millions of illegals here, but spending tens of billions of dollars to do it sure isn't.

Immigrants are giving up their cases and leaving the U.S. in soaring numbers: People facing the prospect of prolonged ICE detention are increasingly abandoning their claims for humanitarian protection and agreeing to depart voluntarily

... Immigration judges issued more than 80,000 “voluntary departure” orders from January 2025 through March of this year, according to court data obtained by the Vera Institute of Justice and shared with The Washington Post. ...

Adjusted for inflation from 1995, the average mortgage payment in 2025 was 37% higher than it might have been

In June 1995 the average mortgage payment in the United States was roughly $773.

Adjusted for inflation to June 2025 that's $1,635.

The actual average mortgage payment in 2025 was about $2,235.

Bill Clinton teeming up with Republicans in 1997 to turn our homes into mere commodities has really worked out great, hasn't it?

Especially for young people.

The median age of a first time home buyer in 1995 was 29.

In 2025 it's 39.

But your GOP-controlled U.S. Senate couldn't care less.

It stayed up late last night to scheme for more money for ICE even though ICE is completely incompetent to deport illegal aliens, but it never stays up to solve the most pressing problems of America's younger generations.

The blindness is mind-boggling.

Weasels are most active at night

As if ICE doesn't have enough money already from the Big Ugly Bill to murder Americans in our own streets, the bloodthirsty GOP Senate has voted to give them MORE intending to use the budget reconciliation trick

U.S. Senate votes to advance $70 billion funding plan for ICE, Border Patrol

... Lawmakers voted 50-48 in the predawn hours to adopt the non-binding budget resolution and send it to the U.S. House of Representatives ...

Two Republicans — Senators Rand Paul and Lisa Murkowski — opposed the measure.

If adopted by the House, the resolution will allow congressional committees to begin filling in the details on how the $70 billion would be spent in separate legislation that President ‌Donald Trump would have to sign into law. ...

Republicans plan to employ a rarely used procedure known as budget reconciliation in the separate legislation, which allows some budget-related bills to bypass Democratic opposition in the Senate. ...

Such measures require only a simple majority for passage in the 100-member chamber, instead of the usual supermajority of 60 votes or more. ‌Republicans hold a 53-47 seat majority. ...

After two U.S. citizens were fatally shot by immigration enforcement agents in Minneapolis, Democrats insisted that ICE and Border Patrol be subject to the same operational rules as police forces across the United States, including a requirement that judicial warrants be obtained before agents can enter private homes.

But weeks of negotiations ended in a stalemate. ...

Last year, Republicans passed legislation providing around $130 billion in funding for these two agencies, ‌separate from their annual appropriations and the $70 billion now being advanced in Congress. ...
