  Democratic National Committee finance member Lindy Li trashed Vice President Kamala Harris’ failed bid for the White House, calling her loss to President-elect Donald Trump a “$1 billion disaster.” 

Ms. Li told “Fox & Friends” on Saturday that she and other Democrats feel that Campaign Chairwoman Jen O’Malley Dillon “misled” them into wasting millions of dollars. 

“The truth is, this is just an epic disaster — this is a $1 billion disaster,” Ms. Li said. “They’re $20 million or $18 million in debt. It’s incredible, and I raised millions of that.” 

She added, “I have friends I have to be accountable and explain things to because I told them it was a margin-of-error race. I was promised, Jen O’Malley Dillon promised all of us that Harris would win. She even put videos out saying Harris would win. I believed her, my donors believed her, and so they wrote massive checks.”

Mr. Trump’s resounding victory over Ms. Harris has had Democrats searching for what went wrong.

Rep. Nancy Pelosi, California Democrat, blamed President Biden for Tuesday’s blowout loss because of his late exit from the race in July. 

She argued that if Democrats had an open primary to find a new party nominee, the election outcome might have been different. 

Ms. Li made a similar argument, that if Democrats truly viewed Mr. Trump as a threat to democracy and the country, they would have allowed for an open process to find a successor “instead of just coronating somebody.”

Mr. Biden’s decision to endorse Ms. Harris quickly shuttered that possibility, she said. 

“I actually think President Biden, the whole endorsing her 30 minutes after he dropped out, I think that was a big ‘F you’ to the party. ‘If you don’t want me, here’s somebody you may not like, deal with it,’” Ms. Li said.

Harris sealed her status as the presumptive nominee Monday night after crossing the magic number of 1,976 pledged delegates, according to an unofficial Associated Press tally. While delegates who indicated their support are not required to back her nomination, the achievement — and lack of credible opposition — underscores the vice president’s hold on the Democratic ticket.

Democrats were lied to by Biden about the necessity of a virtual roll call of delegates by Aug 7, and now that he's out Democrats are still lying about it

 There is no need for a virtual roll call before the convention, unless you're trying to stop debate.

Ohio moved its deadline to Aug 23, after the Democrat convention.

This happened AT THE END OF MAY already lol.

With the passage of the Biden ballot fix in the state, the DNC plan in not necessary -- however the DNC said it is planning to move forward with its virtual roll call nomination of Biden ahead of Aug. 7, Ohio's original deadline.

People forget that Joe Biden came in fourth in Iowa and fifth in New Hampshire in 2020 and was still neck-and-neck with Bernie in the primary popular vote until March 14th

• In September 2022 at a speech on food insecurity, Biden tried to give a shout-out to Rep. Jackie Walorski (R-Ind.), who had worked on the issue — but who had been killed in a car accident weeks earlier.
• Biden had issued a statement of condolences. The White House flew flags at half-staff in honor of her death.
• "Representative — Jackie, are you here? Where's Jackie? I think she wasn't going to be here," Biden said at the event.

Biden's prepared remarks included a note that Walorski had recently passed away and thanked her for her contributions, two people familiar with the speech told Axios.

• Biden didn't remember she had died, and either ignored the Teleprompter or had trouble reading it.
• White House Press Secretary Karine Jean-Pierre deflected tough questioning the next day by CNN's Phil Mattingly, CBS's Steven Portnoy and others.
• Jean-Pierre refused to acknowledge Biden made a mistake, and didn't commit to releasing the original version of the remarks.
• She said at the briefing: "I don't think it's all that unusual to have someone top of mind, especially as there's a big event."
• The White House didn't respond to questions about this incident.
