Trump is the accidental anarchist to Biden the intentional one

Trump treating NATO like a plaything in South Carolina:

'No, I would not protect you [NATO], in fact I would encourage them [Russia] to do whatever the hell they want, you gotta pay! You gotta pay your bills.'

Also in South Carolina, Trump oblivious to Nikki Haley's husband's military deployment:

“Then she comes over to see me at Mar-a-Lago. ‘Sir, I will never run against you.’ She brought her husband. Where’s your husband? Oh, he’s away. He’s away. What happened to her husband? What happened to her husband? Where is he? He’s gone! He knew. He knew,” Trump said.

In Michigan Ron DeSantis is still on the ballot Tuesday February 27th:

LOL, classified documents he wasn't supposed to have in the first place were "filed in the wrong place" Biden says

“We found a handful of documents were filed in the wrong place,” Biden explained Thursday during a tour of storm damage in California.

FBI found more documents Friday in a 13-hour search of Biden's home in the presence of Biden's attorneys. Trump's attorneys were not allowed to be present during the FBI raid of Mar-a-Lago.

Joe Biden: One law for me, another for thee

Why was it not until Nov. 2, 2022, that his lawyers were emptying the old [UPenn] office? ... The biggest problem with the Joe Biden documents story is that we know only what Joe Biden's lawyers have told us.  And that is just the way Biden wants it.

Byron York here

The Mar-a-Lago raid was on August 8, 2022, that's why.

Today's drinking phrase is "third discovery of VP Biden classified documents"

From when he was VP, not president.

This time in his house, and not in the garage.

Saying "third" is being avoided at all costs, as is "in the house" on the advice of the Maoist Bob Bauer.

Mar-a-Lago chickens . . . comin' home . . . to roost.

Additional classified government documents [third batch] were found at President Joe Biden’s Delaware home this week, the White House confirmed Saturday.

In a statement, Richard Sauber, White House special counsel, said that a total of six pages of documents with classification markings were discovered at Biden’s Wilmington residence. [statement conflates second and third discoveries] The White House previously said that only one page was found there.

The first document [second batch] was identified on Wednesday by Biden’s personal lawyer and turned over, and the additional five documents were discovered later that week [third batch . . . yesterday], Sauber said. ...

According to a statement Saturday from Biden’s personal attorney Bob Bauer, the second batch of documents was discovered in the garage of Biden’s Delaware residence on Dec. 20. The president’s attorneys [why not the FBI?] conducted another search of the home to look for other classified materials beginning Wednesday, which is when they found the additional records [third batch] in a room adjacent to the garage. ...

Bauer said the attorneys do not have security clearances, which means they are not aware of the exact number of documents or their content.

What will they find when they search Dr. Jill Biden's underwear drawer?

Presumably nothing, because Biden's own attorneys are searching Biden's home, not the FBI.

ALL THESE PEOPLE NEED TO GO.

The story here came out yesterday around noon while everyone was busy with Saturday errands and living for the weekend.

FBI run amok seizes cell phone of five term Pennsylvania Congressman Republican Scott Perry, head of House Freedom Caucus since January

"My phone contains info about my legislative and political activities, and personal/private discussions with my wife, family, constituents, and friends. None of this is the government’s business."

Planting "evidence": Dirty rotten FBI spent 9 hours "searching" Trump's residence on Monday after fruitless hours-long May recon mission

A source close to the former president expressed concern that FBI agents or DOJ lawyers conducting the search could have “planted stuff” because they would not allow Trump’s attorneys inside the 128-room building to observe the operation, which lasted more than nine hours. ...

In May, Corcoran granted access into Mar-a-Lago’s windowless storage room to FBI agents who spent several hours searching through the boxes. Trump stopped by the basement to say hello at one point, says someone who was there.

Trump's tone-deafness on Putin on the 22nd is no different than his dismissive COVID-19 response in early 2020, which he never understood frightened away America's older voters

Europe is finally uniting against Putin on the third day of the Ukraine invasion, passing restrictions and sending arms and support, and Trump is calling Putin's machinations to invade Ukraine "smart", "genius", "very savvy", and "pretty savvy".

He's clueless. Putin has clearly over-reached and is leading Russia into permanent pariah status on the world stage.

I went in yesterday and there was a television screen, and I said, “This is genius.” Putin declares a big portion of the Ukraine — of Ukraine. Putin declares it as independent. Oh, that’s wonderful.

So, Putin is now saying, “It’s independent,” a large section of Ukraine. I said, “How smart is that?” And he’s gonna go in and be a peacekeeper. That’s strongest peace force… We could use that on our southern border. That’s the strongest peace force I’ve ever seen. There were more army tanks than I’ve ever seen. They’re gonna keep peace all right. No, but think of it. Here’s a guy who’s very savvy… I know him very well. Very, very well.

By the way, this never would have happened with us. Had I been in office, not even thinkable. This would never have happened. But here’s a guy that says, you know, “I’m gonna declare a big portion of Ukraine independent,” he used the word “independent,” “and we’re gonna go out and we’re gonna go in and we’re gonna help keep peace.” You gotta say that’s pretty savvy. And you know what the response was from Biden? There was no response. They didn’t have one for that. No, it’s very sad. Very sad.

Republicans will pay a heavy price for backing this lunatic again.

When WaPo is more accurate than Drudge

Discussions between the Archives and the former president's lawyers that began last year resulted in the transfer of the records in January, according to one person familiar with the conversations. Another person familiar with the materials said Trump advisers discussed what had to be returned in December. People familiar with the transfer, like others, spoke on the condition of anonymity to reveal internal details. ... the Archives has very limited enforcement capabilities ...

LOL, The Grauniad thinks it's in the Vanguard of the press, having few scruples about printing Trump's four years filled with swearing, obviously doesn't read POLITICO

Here where it can't even bring itself to spell them out:

In remarks to diners at his Mar-a-Lago resort in Florida on Saturday night, Donald Trump called the American media “crooked ba**ards” and Gen Mark Milley, the chairman of the joint chiefs of staff, a “fu**ing idiot”. ...

Trump’s penchant for swearing is well-known, to the extent that his four-year presidency prompted soul-searching among some US media outlets about which words could properly be printed.

The Guardian has long had few such scruples.

POLITICO in October:

Behind closed doors, the former Catholic school boy is quite profane, according to several current and former aides.

“When he gets going he definitely gets going,” said one White House official.

In meetings with aides, Biden’s vulgarities include but are not limited too: “Fuck them,” “What the fuck are we doing?” “Why the fuck isn’t this happening?” “bullshit,” “dammit,” or just simply: “fuck,” according to several current and former aides.

When pushing aides for better answers, he will sometimes say, “don't bullshit a bullshitter.”

Some say they find Biden’s foul mouth endearing — a part of his everyman appeal that made him president. One former aide noted that’s true just as long as you’re not on the receiving end of it.

By contrast, Vice President KAMALA HARRIS’ favorite swear word is “motherfuck-ah,” [emphasis on the ahhhhh] according to someone who worked closely with her. She also alluded to this preference in a past interview. Her office did not respond.

When Mar-a-Lago is full we'll move on to the Trump hotels to house all the illegals Trump is letting in

"Hello room service? Cafe Bustelo for thirty in suite 700. And make it snappy!"

To Richard Brookhiser of National Review, illegal immigration isn't even a thing, and conservatism's biggest hypocrites are among the Religious Right

Here, where strong national defense, cultural and New York intellectual conservatives, and free-marketeers all receive his scorn:

Trump’s conservative admirers have had to abandon and contradict what they once professed to hold most dear.

The most egregious example is the religious Right. The religious Right is the latest version of an old model of American politics, variously incarnated by Puritans, abolitionists, and William Jennings Bryan. It, like its predecessors, has argued that America and individual Americans need to have a godly or at least moral character to thrive. Now the religious Right adores a thrice-married cad and casual liar. But it is not alone. Historians and psychologists of the martial virtues salute the bone-spurred draft-dodger whose Khe Sanh was not catching the clap. Cultural critics who deplored academic fads and slipshod aesthetics explicate a man who has never read a book, not even the ones he has signed. Followers of Harry Jaffa, the most important Lincoln scholar of the last 60 years, rally round a Republican who does not know why the Civil War happened. Straussians, after leaving the cave, find themselves in Mar-a-Lago. Econocons put their money on a serial bankrupt.

Poor fella. No one listens to him anymore.

Michael Savage, crackpot: Emphasizes "wildlife and the earth" at dinner with President Trump

Recounted here.

Trump got elected on the issue of illegal immigration. There has been no progress on the wall in a year, and Savage decides to use his valuable meeting time with Trump to talk about . . . environmentalism. As if environmentalism will be important politically in the midterms.

What a nitwit.

We're being overrun and Savage decides to get all wet.

We're doomed I tell you.

Read it and weep, suckers: Trump tells his rich friends at Mar-a-Lago that they just got a lot richer

'The president himself on Sept. 13 -- long before the bill was finalized -- said the wealthy would not benefit from the GOP tax overhaul.

'"The rich will not be gaining at all with this plan. We are looking for the middle class and we are looking for jobs -- jobs being the economy," Mr. Trump said.'

Hey Trump, where's the Big Mac for Xi Jinping?

Here's Trump with O'Reilly in 2015 saying he wouldn't throw a dinner for China's leaders but give them McDonald's hamburgers instead.

CNBC and WaPo just plain lie: Cost of Air Force One alone under Obama was $577 million

2799 hours in the air @ $206,377 per hour.

But here's CNBC lying through its teeth, relying on WaPo lying through its teeth, putting the cost at less than 17% of that:

Trump's time in office could cost taxpayers "hundreds of millions of dollars or more," topping the estimated $97 million of travel-related expenses during the Obama administration, the Post reported.

Trump can fly to Mar-a-Lago and back every weekend for 9.2 years before he spends what Obama spent flying everywhere.

Why it's not a coincidence the polls now favor Hillary

Because Trump touted his poll successes throughout the primaries. So, poll now to make him look like a failure. A simple strategy. Don't measure opinion, shape it!

Pick the target . . . easy, there's only one in this circumstance.

Freeze it . . . attack him from all sides, media, academia, Congress, Hollywood, donors, Democrats, Republican establishment. Keep up constant pressure from every angle.

Personalize it . . . never talk about the issues he talks about, about all the people thronging his appearances, only talk about the man, how "unfit" he is, what a clown he is, how inarticulate, offensive and classless!

Polarize it . . . caricature him as if he didn't belong, like he was beneath us, you know like Mar-a-Lago Club didn't belong in Palm Beach. Treat him like people who work for a living, not like one of us. Accuse his movement of being violent, outside the mainstream, while having your thugs do actual harm to his supporters.

Make him and them feel all alone, like strangers in their own country.
