In 1980 and 1984 ignorant young conservatives voted for Ronald Reagan never expecting his 1986 immigration amnesty nor Bush 41's opening of the legal immigration floodgates

Peak Boomer 1957 turned 30 in 1987 and didn't have a clue about anything anymore than Gen X does now. @GodCloseMyEyes is blind. Racial anxiety today was caused by libertarian immigration policies put into place by Reagan and Bush, flooding the country with foreigners. We were ignorant as ignorant could be when we voted for these fools. The '60s riots were already ancient history.

Republican Thomas Massie's KY-4 ladies and gentlemen: Kinky Kenton County female judge, 38, turns private chambers into group sex venue

Libertarianism in action:

According to an investigation by the Kentucky Judicial Conduct Commission, she flirted with attorneys over Snapchat, put pressure on them to sleep with her and, in one case, asked a female attorney to join her in a threesome with her former church pastor turned lover. ... Family Court Judge Dawn Gentry has been hit with nine misconduct charges by the Kentucky Judicial Conduct Commission. ... Gentry serves as a family court judge for Kenton County which is south of the Kentucky-Ohio state line near Cincinnati.

Libertarianism means strengthening Chinese communist totalitarianism with every purchase

Kentucky's 4th Congressional District, ladies and gentlemen, Karl Marx's favorite Republican vacation spot.

America was an extremist country until 1913

So says this nut, Adam Grossman:

As a Libertarian, some of [Harry] Browne’s economic proposals were extreme—including, for instance, abolishing income taxes.

Well now, since the total public debt is today $23.076 trillion and climbing inexorably, I'd say the extremism is all post-1913. Measured in trillions, the public debt in 1913 was less than $0.00 trillion.

Isn't it obvious that income taxes have become irrelevant?

We spend in deficit every year and simply keep adding to the total owed. Might as well just stop collecting income taxes altogether, since we've decided we can borrow indefinitely. We never pay as we go, let alone make payments on what we owe.

Why are taxes even necessary anymore, since nothing has ever had to be paid for, or paid off?

Income taxes are dispensable.

Libertarian kook John Tamny of Real Clear Markets twists himself into a pretzel about Katie Hill, writes a convoluted mess about it, as usual

Rep. Katie Hill recently resigned her congressional seat after, among other things, a romantic relationship with a junior male staffer was revealed. ... [C]onservatives should stand their ground by defending Hill.

See here.

Never mentions the throuple. Never mentions the abuse of power by one in authority over younger subordinates, both male and female. Never mentions she broke her marriage vows to her husband in the process. Never mentions she and her husband used Congressional staff as a hunting field for their personal kinky sexual predation. Never mentions some of it must have occurred at taxpayer expense, etc., etc., etc.

Michelle Malkin should be judged by her enemies: Libertarian kook Cathy Young for instance

"In Defense of Internment" does make a convincing case that some Japanese aliens and even Japanese-Americans had pro-Japan sympathies, and that the Japanese military was working to recruit agents in their ranks. ... [T]he profiling measures Malkin advocates today, such as selective monitoring of aliens and visitors from countries with terrorist links, are moderate and fairly sensible. She is right that it's ludicrous to invoke Japanese internment as a parallel.

Yet somehow Malkin's still an "extremist".

Only in your fevered mind of "awfulness".

The House impeachment inquiry, which is already being conducted in secret and restricts Republican involvement, was finally authorized but on entirely partisan grounds, by Democrats

232 YEAS (all Democrats plus Justin Amash, the libertarian nutjob from my district in Michigan), 196 NAYS (194 Republicans plus 2 Democrats), and 4 NOT VOTING (3 Republicans plus 1 Democrat:  A personal family emergency, the death of a father, and the call of military duty kept the three Republicans away from the vote; the lone Democrat not voting is recovering from surgery).

YEAS included sexual predator Katie Hill of California, who formally resigns her seat in the US House as of today, and candidate for president Army Major Tulsi Gabbard of Hawaii.

Libertarian Mike Lee of Utah, author of get out of jail crime bill, is also author of American job-stealer bill stalled in Senate

There was a reason Americans drove Mormons out to the west, but obviously Utah has proven to be a stop too short.

To Kevin Williamson and National Review conservatism is materialism, and you damn families and your schools in Kentucky and Oklahoma are the problem

It's Kevin Williamson with the mulish refusal to consider and deal with the world as we actually find it. You can spend decades trying to beat the nesting instinct out of mothers but all you'll have to show for it in the end is a different set of mothers to replace them, and a different country. Conservatives would prefer to stick with the one we've got. Libertarians should move . . . out.

Job Security Is Not Coming Back:

[I]t is better that we are not governed by poets. Our policymakers must deal with the world as it is, and our schools and families should prepare children for the world as it is, not as we might wish it were. Imagination and creativity are ... a mulish refusal to consider and deal with the world as we actually find it.

LOL: CNN calls US House vote supporting 2-state solution and opposing boycott, divestment, sanctions movement "divisive" when it passed 398-17

Roll call vote 497 is here.

The headline is correct in one sense, however: Both hard left and hard right are cracking up.

The former leader of the Rebel Alliance, Justin Amash, ignominiously abandoned the fight to vote "present" with four other courageous Democrats cowardly lions, leaving his wingman Thomas Massie of Kentucky to cast the lone Republican "nay" vote.

Massie strangely thought it a good idea to associate himself with the likes of Democrats AOC, Omar and Tlaib, apparently rushing to fill in for Squad member Ayanna Pressley, who inexplicably abandoned her compatriots and voted "yea", proving once again that the true meaning of libertarianism is the freedom to be anti-Semitic.

Just a reminder that Obamacare is doing what it intended: Squeeze the middle class

Making healthcare more expensive for the middle class is intended to eliminate the middle class, eventually. Obamacare in its gradualism is an example of Fabian socialism.

But it's classic Marxism nonetheless, wherein the middle class is seen to be the greatest enemy, not the rich. The middle class stands in the proletariat's way in its contest against the rich. The middle class must be reduced and absorbed by the proletariat in order to end the possibility of the middle class getting wealthier and rising up the economic ladder.

Instead the middle class must be forced down the economic ladder.

We are living it, but the masses hardly notice as they are anesthetized by libertarian phantoms in fake news, entertainments, drugs and assorted excesses of appetite. The effect of it all is an equality! How could that be bad!?

The enemy proceeds with utter seriousness, corrupting the body politic, while seriousness can hardly be found in anyone else.

Libertarianism kills: Boeing outsourced 737 Max software to $9/hour programmers from India to save money

It remains the mystery at the heart of Boeing Co.’s 737 Max crisis: how a company renowned for meticulous design made seemingly basic software mistakes leading to a pair of deadly crashes. Longtime Boeing engineers say the effort was complicated by a push to outsource work to lower-paid contractors.

The Max software -- plagued by issues that could keep the planes grounded months longer after U.S. regulators this week revealed a new flaw -- was developed at a time Boeing was laying off experienced engineers and pressing suppliers to cut costs.

Increasingly, the iconic American planemaker and its subcontractors have relied on temporary workers making as little as $9 an hour to develop and test software, often from countries lacking a deep background in aerospace -- notably India. ...

“Boeing was doing all kinds of things, everything you can imagine, to reduce cost, including moving work from Puget Sound, because we’d become very expensive here,” said Rick Ludtke, a former Boeing flight controls engineer laid off in 2017. “All that’s very understandable if you think of it from a business perspective. Slowly over time it appears that’s eroded the ability for Puget Sound designers to design.”

Rabin, the former software engineer, recalled one manager saying at an all-hands meeting that Boeing didn’t need senior engineers because its products were mature. “I was shocked that in a room full of a couple hundred mostly senior engineers we were being told that we weren’t needed,” said Rabin, who was laid off in 2015.

Thomas Sowell just doesn't get that libertarianism means that all the laws on the books are a bad joke

Libertarianism is the guiding principle dismantling America into a chaotic mess.

Trump's Supreme Court advances offensive libertarianism, not conservatism

The decision was 6-3.

"Chief Justice John Roberts and Justices Stephen Breyer and Sonia Sotomayor dissented."

Spare me, libertarian Miller: Abortion sucks ... everything about it sucks ... on both sides ... it's also what happens when you ignore a problem for 20 years ... use it ... and just put the next lunatic in charge of Auschwitz

A libertarian society just shrugs its shoulders at everything because it believes in nothing

Bruce Jenner is a girl. Rachel Dolezal is black. Donald Trump will deport millions.

The anarchy will end when Draco arrives.

Dummy up, idiot, they're importing voters not workers

Libertarians were the Trojan Horse sacking the GOP, third world immigrants are the republic's. A purely materialistic, consumption-based country simply needs more consumers.

It was a nice country while it lasted.
