But, yeah, ridiculous once upon a time NeverTrump gasbags like Charlie Kirk think they are going to remove John Thune.
Donald Trump once laughably thought the same thing about Kelly Armstrong.

Biden admits he was pushed out of presidential race, name-drops Pelosi in first interview since exit
“Nancy made clear that they could do this the easy way or the hard way,” one Democrat who had knowledge of the private conversations told Politico. “She gave them three weeks of the easy way. It was about to be the hard way.”
Four days after the primary election we've gone from 49% counted to 69% counted with Garvey still holding his own against the candidate crowned by Nancy Pelosi.
On the one hand one should be encouraged by Garvey's surprising competitiveness in this blue state.
On the other this is a bad omen for November vote fraud planning by Democrats to make sure the Feinstein seat remains Democrat.
The primary was yesterday.
The UK, with a population more than twice the size of California, would have had the entire vote for any race counted within hours.
But California has made no progress since this morning.
In the crucial race for US Senate, California has made almost ZERO progress after twelve hours.
This is how you create the conditions to tamper with the vote. You get people accustomed to delays like today time after time so that people tire of raising any objections. And then boom! you steal the election when you need to because it took forever last time, why not THIS time?
At 8:34am, the New York Times reported 48% of the vote counted in the US Senate race:
Tonight, at 8:53pm, they've made it up 1 point to 49% counted:
From the LA Times here:
Instead [disgruntled Porter supporter Katie Loss, 69] is supporting Schiff, who she said she has long admired for his intelligence, his more than 20 years of experience in Washington and his willingness to stand up to Trump. And, she said, his polite, unflappable demeanor is "badly needed in the Senate."
Three paragraphs later:
Still, Schiff — through his role as a House impeachment manager and regular appearances on cable news — was the most visible and forceful foil to Trump, who regularly called him out at rallies and insulted him on social media.
Meanwhile, just 48% of the vote in California, tech capital of the world, is counted this morning:
DODGERS great's plan to save CA from crime, squalor and Adam Schiff...
Garvey, 74, said his experience with baseball has trained him how to put together a winning team, saying he's"been able to do it in Los Angeles and San Diego and in the community. ... I'll be a one-term, six-year senator who will step up to the plate every day and go to bat for the people of California who know there's a better life and need somebody to be their voice. They'll be the wind beneath my wings, too," he added.
Over and over, Twitter – which was hardly sympathetic to Trump – told
Schiff and his colleagues there was simply no evidence of Russian
involvement. As much as some Twitter employees may have liked to report
the opposite, to their credit they refused to participate in the scam.
Even after Twitter had informed Schiff and his fellow hoaxers that there
was no Russian involvement, Sen. Blumenthal released a statement he
knew was not true: “We find it reprehensible that Russian agents have so
eagerly manipulated innocent Americans.” Again, this was right after he
had been informed by Twitter employees - who were by-and-large strongly
opposed to Trump - that there was just no evidence to back up such a
statement.

New York City Mayor Eric Adams tested positive for the virus on Sunday after waking up with a raspy voice. Adams attended the Gridiron Dinner in Washington, an annual event that brings together prominent government officials and journalists. At least 80 people who attended the dinner, the first since 2019, have tested positive for Covid including several senior government officials, according to Gridiron Club President Tom DeFrank.
Attorney General Merrick Garland, Commerce Secretary Gina Raimondo, Reps. Joaquin Castro and Adam Schiff, and Sen. Susan Collins all tested positive after attending the dinner.
House Speaker Nancy Pelosi, D- Calif., also tested positive for Covid last week but wasn’t experiencing any symptoms and didn’t attend the Gridiron Dinner. Pelosi’s positive result came a day after she stood next to President Joe Biden at a bill-signing ceremony. Biden, who also did not attend the Gridiron Dinner, subsequently tested negative for Covid.
