 Witness says Biddeford shooting victim told police ‘I tried to stop’ 

Daniel Boucher was getting ready for work Monday morning when he heard what sounded like fireworks going off outside of his home near downtown Biddeford.

He rushed to the window, where he saw an SUV trying to ram a small white car in the intersection. Moments later, agents in vests stopped the car and pulled the driver out.

“He was bleeding profusely from the head,” Boucher said later Monday morning. “He was talking. He said, ‘I tried to stop.'”

Boucher watched in disbelief as the man’s legs stopped moving as he lay on the ground. He believes he watched him die. ...

After Biddeford police and an ambulance arrived, Boucher said he saw someone appear to start CPR on the driver. Boucher went out to his front door, where the ICE agent he believed fired the shots walked past him.

“I said ‘This was awful’ and he said, ‘He was trying to ram me,'” Boucher said. ...

Joe Biden radically curtailed the use of drones, but still killed dozens of civilians, including in an infamous incident during the ignominious U.S. withdrawal from Afghanistan.

 

Trump II is murdering non-combatants in speed boats in the Caribbean, and school girls in Iran. 

 

The high criminal violence is completely bi-partisan and impeachable, but it reflects the country rather than leads it.

 

Americans of all stripes have been quite content quietly to enjoy life year in and year out while pretending that some of their fellow citizens have not been busy killing tens of millions of the unborn. Yes indeed, Americans want illegals deported, and Trump is spending billions upon billions trying to do just that, but even apart from the resistance being encountered in Democrat-controlled cities, the numbers just don't add up in all the places York says Trump is succeeding.

 

Byron says there are nine million new illegals because of Joe Biden. Trump has deported 600,000 so far, and is likely to be lucky to wind up deporting just 2.4 million. The vast majority of them will still be here when Trump is long gone.

 

Clearly the policy is ineffective, on top of being brutal, unjust, murderous, and a huge waste of money.

 

Trump is ominously expanding the federal infrastructure of a tyrannical police state which a future president might find all too tempting to use to impose gun confiscation, for example. He keeps demanding local cooperation with federal enforcement, which the courts have said violates the Bill of Rights. This impulse is authoritarian, not American. 

 

Trump should have spent what little political capital he won in 2024 by pushing a legislative solution to immigration which placed severe penalties and jail time on persons and companies who hire illegal aliens, and by imposing strict federal regulation against social spending on, and social privileges like drivers licenses for, illegal aliens.

 

Mitt Romney was right that we have to turn off the magnets which attract illegal immigration. Rounding them up one by one is a fool's errand.

Video taken by the ICE agent who shot Renee Good in Minnesota on Wednesday was apparently leaked to a right wing website, Alpha News, last night. The video clearly shows Good steering to drive around and away from him when she was shot, in direct contradiction to Trump and Vance's claims that she was deliberately trying to run him over. Interestingly, it also shows him changing his phone from his right hand to his left hand ten seconds before the fatal shots were fired, which freed up his right hand to draw the weapon.
