Old John even made the news feed, and the CBS story about him illustrates how his hometown name got mangled in the first place

 The Seminole name of his place of birth was Ahapopka.

You know it as Apopka, but CBS calls it Apaka lol.

Gotta say John looked pretty tired last Sunday compared to August in Texas. May he rest in peace.
