Ford Motor F-150 Lightning EV pick-em-up-truck sales are a JOKE, and the mainstream media propaganda stories don't tell you that, if they cover the story at all
Ford sold 7,162 units of the Lightning in Q3 2024, up from the 3,503 units in Q3 of last year. ... Year-to-date, Ford sold 22,807 F-150 Lightning EVs. ...
[22,807 units lol. Ford sold nearly 751,000 F-series pick up trucks in 2023, so that's like 3% of the 2023 total]
Overall, Ford’s all-electric vehicle sales in the third quarter of this year amounted to 23,509 units, up 12.2% from last year’s 20,962 vehicles. Year-to-date, Ford sold 67,689 EVs, up 45% compared to last year’s 46,671 units. ...
Ford sold 432,429 combustion-powered vehicles in the third quarter, down 2.8% year-over-year, and 1,340,139 units year-to-date, down 1.8% year-over-year.
Reported here.
That means year-to-date total EV sales are just 5.05% of total combustion-powered vehicle sales year to date.
People aren't buying these dogs.
None of these stories mention these facts.

When California's not the worst, New York is: Department of Conservation seizes man's rescue animals, Peanut the Squirrel and Fred the Raccoon, and euthanizes them
Because some asshole complained.
People have been complaining for what seems like forever about all the diseased illegals flooding the country, but the Feds and the state of New York don't check them, now do they?

Orphaned squirrel who became social media star was euthanized after being seized from home
Joe Biden's National Security Adviser Jake Sullivan is married to this woman, Maggie Goodlander, who is running for the US House in New Hampshire District 2, except she doesn't really live in it
Goodlander's home is currently out of district in Portsmouth and she is worth a lot of money, with median estimated assets of $24 million.
She's renting an apartment in the congressional district in Nashua in order to qualify to run and is being called a carpetbagger. She was born and raised in Nashua, however.
The Republican has median estimated assets of $6.3 million and isn't exactly a native of the district. She has resided in the district since sometime after 2016 when she ran for US Senate from Colorado as a Libertarian Party candidate.
She really lets Goodlander have it, though, for pretending to understand the problems of middle class people, and of using her wealth to take an apartment away from somebody poorer and more deserving during a period when housing is very unaffordable just so she can run for this seat.
She has a point.
Meanwhile Goodlander is a dyed in the wool progressive with deep connections to people like Merrick Garland and Stephen Breyer, and of course Jake.

Stocks remain wildly overvalued and seriously underperforming
The S&P 500 averaged 5,792.32 in October 2024 (the all-time high was on 10/18 at 5,864.67).
Nominal GDP was updated on Oct 30th at $29.349924 trillion for 3Q2024.
That yields a ratio of SPX/GDP of 197.35 vs. median of 81.
Stocks remain wildly, obscenely, off-the-chart overvalued.
The formula is GDPx = SPX.
29.35(81) = 2,377.
The market would have to fall 3,415 points just to hit median valuation at current GDP, or about 59%.
You can see a similar analysis here, where the median is 79.7 vs. current 200.7.
Real return from SPX since Aug 2000 is now about 5.1% per annum vs. 7.4% before that (including the Great Depression, the depression of 1920, and every collapse before that going back to 1871), 31% worse.
We are living through developments echoing the lunatic era of the 1920s, which ended in tears.
Owe no man anything . . ..
Remember when Drudge falsely told people the "feds" said stop taking baby aspirin to prevent heart attack and stroke in October 2021?
No, Joe Biden, it's not illegal to shout "Fire!" in a crowded theatre.
But it is irresponsible, just like this.
See, it's not just me
I hardly cover it anymore because I'd have to rebut almost every Drudge headline. That's boring, and a full time job without pay.
Just 49.7% had a full-time job in October 2024 vs. 50.3% in Oct 2023 and 50.1% in Oct 2022
Just one percentage point of current civilian population is 2.69 million full time jobs.
The trend is worryingly down for the middle class, which needs full-time jobs in order to buy homes.
The percent working full time in Jun 2023 almost but not quite beat the high under Trump of 50.98% in the summer of 2019, but that was 16 months ago.
The Jan 2024 low was lower than the Jan 2023 low, too.
NOT GOOD.
Better save your pennies.

Democrats sound the dog-whistle to legal and illegal aliens to go vote, Chinese non-citizen shows them all how to commit vote fraud at a polling place in Michigan
The Chinese man – a student at the University of Michigan – cast his ballot on Sunday and then reached out to local election officials later that day in an attempt to get the ballot back, according to a source familiar with the situation.
The man registered to vote at the polling place on Sunday, the source said. He used his university ID and other documents to demonstrate his residency in Ann Arbor while filling out a same-day voter registration forms, the source said. The Detroit News first reported the details. ...
WELL WHY WOULD HE DO THAT?
He's the sacrificial lamb, that's why.
All he risks is deportation for committing perjury and vote fraud. But there are millions of people here right now who should be deported for breaking the immigration law but Democrats won't enforce that law.
That's what's going on here: Don't admit you did it like this lunatic did and presto, nothing to prosecute!
But there is no mechanism to detect such lying, and Democrats aren't interested in creating one.
The rest of us are chumps, showing up with our drivers licenses thinking our id protects the integrity of the system when the system was deliberately designed with this giant same day registration loophole you could drive the entire communist party of China through.
The whole episode is a vote fraud instruction manual.
I wonder how much they paid him.
It appears that the student’s vote can’t be nullified after the fact and will be counted.
Washtenaw County Clerk Lawrence Kestenbaum told CNN ballots can’t be retrieved once they have gone through the tabulator. Unlike vote-by-mail, ballots cast at in-person voting locations don’t contain any identifying information about the individual voter, making it impossible to determine which one belonged to the student, Kestenbaum said.
“There’s a box of ballots underneath the tabulator and all of the ballots — they all look the same … there’s no way to go back and undo it,” Kestenbaum said in an interview.
Experts said this is a standard election procedure to maintain secrecy.
The story is here.
Yeah, let's blame the secret ballot now.

The Wall Street Journal: Trump is leading Harris among whites by 22 points, among seniors by 8 points
New record for gold: $2,789.73
Gold prices rose to a record high on Wednesday as uncertainty over the U.S. presidential election boosted safe-haven demand, with traders also awaiting economic data for cues on the Federal Reserve’s policy path.
Spot gold rose 0.5% to $2,788.89 per ounce after reaching an all-time high of $2,789.73 earlier in the session. U.S. gold futures gained 0.7% to $2,799.90.
Honestly, I don't know how Staten Island does it
The landfill site operated from 1948-2001.
Pennsylvania, Virginia, Ohio, and South Carolina now get New York's garbage.
The rest of the country gets California's.

Kamala Harris is keeping quiet about climate change because the so-called Inflation Reduction Act's climate provisions are going to screw America good and hard for decades, to the tune of $3 trillion
The climate policies she would offer promise huge costs for negligible benefits. It’d be one thing to ask for sacrifices that could save the planet. But even at a whopping official price tag of $369 billion over 10 years, the Inflation Reduction Act’s climate measures as written were likely to lower the projected global temperature in 2100 by less than 0.03 degree Fahrenheit. In reality, the IRA has turned out to be an even rawer deal. The cost has rapidly ballooned to somewhere north of $3 trillion over 30 to 40 years, even as emission cuts have been slower and smaller than predicted. No wonder Ms. Harris isn’t trumpeting it.
-- Bjorn Lomborg, here
Kamala Harris was the tie-breaking vote in the US Senate twice to advance the bill into law.

Ford Motor loses $1.22 billion on electric vehicles in 3Q
Ford’s “Model e” electric vehicle unit recorded losses of $1.22 billion during the third quarter — less than it lost a year earlier, largely due to lower volumes and cost cuts.
Ford CEO Jim Farley told investors Monday that the company continues to believe in its EV strategy; however, the automaker has pulled back on many investments in the vehicles to focus on hybrid models.

Tim Walz has Chicom bimbo eruption from 1989: Former lover spills the beans about how he used her for sex
Jenna Wang, 59, claims the VP hopeful showered her with gifts and seduced her at his poky staff accommodation at No. 1 High School in Foshan, Guangdong Province. ...
'Tim was very passionate and very romantic. I can still remember dancing with him to our favorite song, Careless Whisper,' she told DailyMail.com in an exclusive interview. 'The fact we couldn't touch or kiss in public just made it all the more exciting and intense when we were finally alone. We were deeply in love and I wanted to marry him and start a family. When it didn't happen, I felt very unhappy and sad. Tim's behavior was very selfish. ... This is a very crucial moment in history and a man like this does not appear to have the character and integrity to do one of the most important jobs in the world.'

Kamala Harris' dad was way ahead of 2006 Paul Krugman warning in 1988 that immigration hurt native born black Americans
“Trends in international trade have moved against U.S. workers,” [Harris] wrote. “U.S. immigration laws have been modified in ways that increase the influx of low-skilled workers, who compete with native-born youths and low-skilled adult workers for low-skilled jobs.
“This shift has been a particularly serious problem for blacks, who constitute a high proportion of the low-skilled adult workers,” according to the book.
More.
The New York Post's Jon Levine laughably tars this as merely a point of view "typical of far-left economic thinking on immigration".
But Marx viewed free-trade as an accelerant of social revolution precisely because it destroyed national identities.
The real revolutionaries who would destroy America are the enthusiasts for mass immigration, which dilutes and replaces the native born patriot population. Paul Krugman joined them in February, infamously flip-flopping to "immigrants make America stronger".
The free-trade libertarians of the Republican Party at The New York Post and The Wall Street Journal and the open borders Democrats are the same party.

Cheap gasoline prices were key to the Trump-era "boom" for the bottom half of income earners destroyed by the Great Recession
Reported here in "Inflation-shocked low- and middle-income Americans may not spend normally for years":
“For a very large share of Americans, the bottom 60% are spending more on essentials than before the pandemic,” said Michael Pearce, Oxford Economics deputy chief U.S. economist. “The burden is hardest among the lowest income but also touches middle income. Spending patterns of low-income Americans will take years to recover.” ...
The last time low-income Americans’ discretionary spending fell this much, which was during the Global Financial Crisis of 2007-2008, it took five to 10 years for spending patterns to return to previous levels, he said.
“And the reason was gas prices fell,” Pearce said. Global oil prices fell by about 70% between 2014-16, which pushed pump prices sharply lower and helped low-income Americans catch up.
“It’s harder to see some revolutionary cost saving (like that) on the horizon,” he said.
Harder to see only if we continue with the green energy nonsense.
The opportunities are YUGE for Trump/Vance because ALL energy costs much more now.
It's not just gasoline. Get the government boot off the neck of fossil fuel producers and gasoline will come down, natural gas will come down, and electricity will come down.
Base energy from coal should be transitioned to nuclear, which works in cold weather and hot weather without fail just like coal, unlike natural gas, wind, and solar, which are fine where appropriate but not as base energy, the energy you must have when you need it when the sun doesn't shine, the wind doesn't blow, and the gas won't flow.

Illegal aliens invited by Democrat scoundrels as reported by US Customs and Border Protection has been an historic invasion: ~ 14 million
Biden-Harris have let in at the very least 4 million of these, counting the minimum estimate of gotaways who have overwhelmed the ridiculous system and the known parolees. The largest standing army in the world is China's at 2 million.
Nearly three million foreign nationals illegally entered or attempted entry into the U.S. in fiscal 2024, according to data published by U.S. Customs and Border Protection.
The total reported nationwide was 2,901,142, with 198,929 reported at the northern border and 2,135,005 reported at the southwest border.
The data includes Border Patrol apprehensions between ports of entry, CBP encounters at ports of entry, and Office of Field Operations apprehensions nationwide.
CBP’s fiscal 2024 data, which covers Oct. 1, 2023, through Sept. 1, 2024, is the second highest reported under the Biden-Harris administration and second highest in U.S. history.
The highest total reported in U.S. history was more than 3.2 million in fiscal 2023, followed by fiscal 2024, fiscal 2022’s more than 2.76 million and fiscal 2021’s 1.95 million.
When subtracting the first three months of fiscal 2021, which occurred during the Trump administration, the number drops to 1,684,116.
No other administration has reported totals as high as these.
Combined, CBP apprehension/encounter data under the Biden-Harris administration totals 10,552,984.
This total excludes more than 2 million who illegally entered and evaded capture, known as gotaways.
CBP does not publicly report gotaway data.
The Center Square first reported gotaway data in 2021 after receiving it from a Border Patrol agent.
Retired CBP officials say the number is higher because gotaway data is underreported by about 20%.
The total also excludes 1,383,000 inadmissables released into the U.S. through two parole programs created by Department of Homeland Security Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas.
This includes more than 852,000 illegal foreign nationals processed and released into the country through the CBP One App and more than 531,000 Cubans, Haitians, Nicaraguans, and Venezuelans deemed inadmissible and released into the country through the CHNV parole program, according to CBP data. ...
The parole total also excludes the number of illegal foreign
nationals released into the country through at least another 10 programs
Mayorkas created. Federal judges ruled the parole programs are illegal;
House Republicans cited them as examples of illegal actions for which they impeached Mayorkas in February. ...
Under the Biden-Harris administration, a record 518,524 illegal border crossers were reported at the northern border, excluding gotaways, the highest in U.S. history.
-- Bethany Blankley, "Nearly 3 million illegal border crossers reported in fiscal 2024: Roughly 14 million under Biden-Harris administration, most in US history"
