Having fewer children per family means having fewer rebel last borns in society and therefore the more docile, compliant, trusting population we have today, which is more easily led and misled.

Weimar America: Every restaurant is going to become a Wendy's, destroying a decade-old meme
Get ready to pay "market price" at more and more restaurants as docile younger adults are just fine with it.
Pretty insane that every transaction in America is going to become a negotiation. It's a hamburger, dammit, not a 2024 Honda.
This is not progress. This is America becoming a third world bazaar.
The Wall Street Journal reports:
Surge Pricing Is Coming to More Menus Near You
An estimated 61% of adults support variable pricing where a restaurant lowers or raises prices based on business, with younger consumers more in favor of the approach than older ones, according to an online survey of 1,000 people by the National Restaurant Association trade group.
These assholes are trying to sell this as analogous to "Happy Hour".
Happy Hour is happy because the normally COSTLY bar service is CHEAPER during Happy Hour, hello.
Just wait until the grocery store starts doing this, then see how you like it.

Adam Shifty Schiff may live to regret painting popular nice guy Steve Garvey as a MAGA boogeyman come November
Four days after the primary election we've gone from 49% counted to 69% counted with Garvey still holding his own against the candidate crowned by Nancy Pelosi.
On the one hand one should be encouraged by Garvey's surprising competitiveness in this blue state.
On the other this is a bad omen for November vote fraud planning by Democrats to make sure the Feinstein seat remains Democrat.

You should read The Untold History of the Biden Family about Joe's so-called middle class dad
It's a doozy, in The New Yorker no less, here, August 15, 2022:
Commenter at Real Clear astounded by Biden's attempt to minimize Laken Riley's murder
He spoke her name: Laken Riley. And then he said, "How many people are killed by illegals?" Apparently not enough to be of any concern to him. I think that was the most astounding comment he made this evening. It should trouble every American.
-- Tony Siciliano, here
The contrast is with the concern Biden supposedly has for individual women he showcased whose reproductive freedoms have been curtailed.
Some individuals are more important than others to Joe Biden.

Joe Biden wants children to read by 3rd grade
Shouldn't they be reading in Kindergarten? Mine were.
Why do Democrats have such low expectations for public education?
Biden wants to build a port for Gaza for relief shipments even though Hamas is still holding American citizens hostage to this day
Assuming they are still alive.
The conflict between the facts and this new proposal is jarring to say the least:
Here in the chamber tonight are American families whose loved ones are still being held by Hamas.
I pledge to all the families that we will not rest until we bring their loved ones home. ...
Hamas
could end this conflict today by releasing the hostages, laying down
arms, and surrendering those responsible for October 7th. ...
Tonight, I’m directing the U.S. military to lead an emergency mission to establish a temporary pier in the Mediterranean on the Gaza coast that can receive large ships carrying food, water, medicine and temporary shelters.
I remember when Americans held hostage by Muslims in Iran was a crisis which toppled a president. Now hardly anyone gives a fig because they're Jews.
Obama's war on coal has resulted in the elimination of electrical generation capacity equivalent to the entire nuclear power sector, and these idiots wonder how America ended up running out of electricity
Starting from 2012 and going through 2022, ~ 106 GW of coal-fired capacity was eliminated in the US.
Of the ~ 200 GW remaining, ~ 23% is scheduled to be eliminated through 2029.
Meanwhile China just builds and builds and builds new coal-fired capacity. It now has at least 1,109 GW of coal-fired capacity, five times more than the US.

California is the poster child of failed democracy
The primary was yesterday.
The UK, with a population more than twice the size of California, would have had the entire vote for any race counted within hours.
But California has made no progress since this morning.
In the crucial race for US Senate, California has made almost ZERO progress after twelve hours.
This is how you create the conditions to tamper with the vote. You get people accustomed to delays like today time after time so that people tire of raising any objections. And then boom! you steal the election when you need to because it took forever last time, why not THIS time?
At 8:34am, the New York Times reported 48% of the vote counted in the US Senate race:
Tonight, at 8:53pm, they've made it up 1 point to 49% counted:
That's so California right there lol: Adam Shifty Schiff is unflappable and polite, also the man who regularly insulted Trump on social media
From the LA Times here:
Instead [disgruntled Porter supporter Katie Loss, 69] is supporting Schiff, who she said she has long admired for his intelligence, his more than 20 years of experience in Washington and his willingness to stand up to Trump. And, she said, his polite, unflappable demeanor is "badly needed in the Senate."
Three paragraphs later:
Still, Schiff — through his role as a House impeachment manager and regular appearances on cable news — was the most visible and forceful foil to Trump, who regularly called him out at rallies and insulted him on social media.
Meanwhile, just 48% of the vote in California, tech capital of the world, is counted this morning:

Sometimes Hillary really has a way with words
"So we have a contest between one candidate who's old, but who's done an effective job and doesn't threaten our democracy. And we have another candidate who is old, barely makes sense when he talks, is dangerous, and threatens our democracy."
Here.
FOIA lawsuit reveals Biden used taxpayer money to fly 320,000 illegal aliens directly from their home countries into the US in 2023
Use of a cell phone app has allowed for the near undetected arrival by air of 320,000 aliens with no legal rights to enter the United States.
It comes after a controversy over a 2022 transportation program in which the administration used taxpayers money to move migrants throughout the country on overnight flights.
Included in details of a Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) lawsuit first reported by Todd Bensman, the Center for Immigration Studies found Biden's CBP approved the latest secretive flights that transported hundreds of thousands of illegal immigrants from foreign countries into at least 43 different American airports from January through December 2023.
The whole thing is here.
