The passing scene is hilarious, until it careens through the front yard and crashes into my living room.

Beto Beto Beto, Foss was one thing, but a furry in The Sheeps? Really?
The Ramones would have beaten you with a baseball bat.
Here’s Video of Beto O’Rourke Singing “Blitzkrieg Bop” in a Sheep Mask and Onesie
You’re welcome, America.

Contra Richard Spencer, it's not a question of the efficacy of the constitution but of the efficacy of its heirs
The constitution's heirs clearly aren't worthy of it. To slaves it is meaningless, a trifle to be dispensed with. Only already free people could write it, and only still free people can love it.
Like all liberals, Beto O'Rourke is mistaken about human nature
"I trust the wisdom of people. And I'm confident - especially after having traveled Texas for two years - people are good, fundamentally, and if given the choice to do the right thing, they will. To do the good thing, they will," he said, referring to his unsuccessful U.S. Senate campaign while giving a walking tour of El Paso and its Mexican sister city, Juarez.
People are not fundamentally good. Nor are they basically evil. Human nature is irreducibly mixed. If people were fundamentally good we wouldn't need laws or government at all, or lawyers, judges, courts and prisons. If they were basically evil the possibility that is America never would have presented itself to history, and monarchy would still be called for. America is the gift of English dissenting Protestantism.
All our political problems remain spiritual ones. There is no freedom without self-control.

If Beto O'Rourke's dental hygienist was born in El Paso, why does she have to study to become a citizen?
Diana, wearing goggles and a mask over her face, said she was born in El Paso and that her father was a U.S. citizen. She added that her mother was born in a small town in Mexico and that she herself was a permanent resident in the U.S. while studying for her American citizenship.

Next stop for beer-drinking Cherokee woman Elizabeth Warren: A visit to the hardware store "to get me a huntin' license"
Must be something in the water up there in Massachusetts that turns people into phony baloney plastic banana good time rock-n-rollas. Michael Dukakis in the tank, John Kerry goes a huntin', and now Elizabeth Warren cracks open a cold one in a New Year's Eve chat streamed live. Hm. Tongues are a-wagging. A drinking Indian, huh? Was it an India Pale Ale?
The article forgets to mention the incident involving John Kerry, who served in Vietnam.
Cashman: Elizabeth Warren racks up another Dukakis moment :
With the beer vid — trying to sell herself as your average
beer-swigging multimillionaire former Harvard Law prof who’s a champion
of the middle class — Warren has racked up two strikes in short order.
Three strikes and … it could be just Beto O’Rourke vs. Kamala Harris on
the left side of the Democrats’ debate stage.

Like Hillary vs. Trump, Beto O'Rourke outspent Ted Cruz and lost, but some Democrats think he's their guy in 2020
But not Rahm Emanuel.
"If Beto O'Rourke wants to go and run for president, God bless him, he should put his hat in and make his case. But, he lost. You don't usually promote a loser to the top of party," Chicago Mayor Rahm Emanuel said Thursday on MSNBC, becoming the highest-profile Democrat yet to air doubts about the excitement swirling around El Paso congressman. ...
One reason Democrats see potential for O'Rourke in a crowded presidential field is that he displayed a rare gift for inspiring donors nationwide.
He smashed through all fundraising records for any Senate candidate anywhere ever. He had a $38 million haul in one three-month period alone on his way past the $70 million mark. A final post-election disclosure due next week will push the total even higher. He outspent Cruz roughly 3-1.
In Democrats' current short list for 2020 Beto runs third behind Lunchbox Joe and Bernie Sanders. Hillary's not on the list. Methinks Rahm would like to be.

Beto O'Rourke is also pre-qualified for opprobrium from the #MeToo movement
Politico quotes him from 1991, here:
“Basically, the show documents the life of Will Rogers, the ‘lassoing fool,’ who rose from being an insignificant side show attraction to one of the more prominent political pundits and cultural statesmen in our history. Yet it is produced and directed in such a showy, glitzy, and ultimately, tacky manner, that one cannot help feeling disgusted throughout the show. Keith Carradine in the lead role is surrounded by perma-smile actresses whose only qualifications seem to be their phenomenally large breasts and tight buttocks.”
The Democrat answer to Ted Cruz is having a tough week.
