The New York Times says "places with higher vaccination rates have suffered many fewer Covid deaths", but those places are also much less densely populated

LOL, CDC admits its withheld COVID data could be "misinterpreted" to mean the vaccines aren't effective
CDC still can't face the truth about Provincetown, so don't get your hopes up.
The C.D.C. Isn’t Publishing Large Portions of the Covid Data It Collects :
Kristen Nordlund, a spokeswoman for the C.D.C., said the agency has been slow to release the different streams of data “because basically, at the end of the day, it’s not yet ready for prime time.” She said the agency’s “priority when gathering any data is to ensure that it’s accurate and actionable.”
Another reason is fear that the information might be misinterpreted, Ms. Nordlund said. ...
Last year, the agency repeatedly came under fire for not tracking so-called breakthrough infections in vaccinated Americans, and focusing only on individuals who became ill enough to be hospitalized or die. The agency presented that information as risk comparisons with unvaccinated adults, rather than provide timely snapshots of hospitalized patients stratified by age, sex, race and vaccination status.
But the C.D.C. has been routinely collecting information since the Covid vaccines were first rolled out last year, according to a federal official familiar with the effort. The agency has been reluctant to make those figures public, the official said, because they might be misinterpreted as the vaccines being ineffective.
Ms. Nordlund confirmed that as one of the reasons. Another reason, she said, is that the data represents only 10 percent of the population of the United States. But the C.D.C. has relied on the same level of sampling to track influenza for years. ...
“We have been begging for that sort of granularity of data for two years,” said Jessica Malaty Rivera, an epidemiologist and part of the team that ran Covid Tracking Project, an independent effort that compiled data on the pandemic till March 2021.

FBI had at least a dozen "informants" involved prodding along the Gov. Whitmer kidnap plot
But as it was revealed that the FBI had at least a dozen informants heavily involved in the Watchmen — including that Iraq veteran — critics say the G-Men did as much to prod the plot as they did to prevent it from happening in the first place.
The agents took an active part in the scheme from its inception, according to court filings, evidence and dozens of interviews examined by BuzzFeed. Some members of the Wolverine Watchmen are accusing the feds of entrapment. ...
Since the 9/11 attacks, the FBI has reportedly recruited thousands of informants. Some, according to a recent investigation in The New York Times that centered on the dubious arrest and conviction of the so-called “Herald Square Bomber” by the use of an informant, said they were retaliated against if they refused. ...
Coulson said he and others are “very upset” the FBI hasn’t arrested anti-government and anti-fascist protesters who have been leading violent demonstrations in Portland and Seattle for more than a year — yet are bearing down so hard on those arrested for the insurrection at the Capitol.
Read it all here.
Looks more and more like a replay of the FBI's Michigan Hutaree Militia fiasco from 2010.

Speaking of phony, between 49% of you and 74% self-report mask-wearing compliance
There's no way in hell that's anywhere close to true with coronavirus cases soaring by 10 million in two months.
You're all lying through your teeth.
If the Christians exaggerate their church contributions by between 51-115%, it's impossible any of this mask-wearing data is reliable anymore than was the polling data for Biden.

As usual Rush Limbaugh is full of it: He says Lincoln ran an anti-slavery campaign for the presidency
Update with chapter and verse:
"The Republican Party was actually founded in opposition to slavery, and Abraham Lincoln was the Republican Party’s president. He ran on an anti-slavery agenda, including some other things. The Civil War was waged under his leadership and presidency, and 500,000 Americans lost their lives (mostly white) to end slavery".
Here.
Rush also gets the casualties wrong. Admittedly there is variation in estimates, but 500,000 isn't one of them.
"For 110 years, the numbers stood as gospel: 618,222 men died in the Civil War, 360,222 from the North and 258,000 from the South — by far the greatest toll of any war in American history.
But new research shows that the numbers were far too low.
By combing through newly digitized census data from the 19th century, J. David Hacker, a demographic historian from Binghamton University in New York, has recalculated the death toll and increased it by more than 20 percent — to 750,000".
More.

The New York Times flat out lies that there is no evidence Biden bragged about stopping the investigation of his son: There's video!
The incompetent boob who put up this 2016 video of Biden speaking at CFR mistakenly dates it to 2006 in the leader, in addition to misspelling Ukrainian, etc., but it's been sourced from CFR all over the place for months. The standard Democrat response to this is that the Ukrainian prosecutor was corrupt. They never mention that he was investigating Biden's son's company.
The real point here is that Biden's son, who had no business expertise, got a sweetheart deal thanks to Daddy's influence and protection as Vice President of the United States.
The Democrats constantly claim Trump violates the emoluments clause when it's Democrats who milk emoluments like a cow.
