Michelle Obama Milks It: Jets to Vail with the Girls for some Skiing

Mrs. Obama has decided to jet out to Vail – instead of visiting slopes closer to Washington DC in Virginia or Pennsylvania – despite already incurring criticism for taking opulent excursions, particularly a trip last summer to Spain. There, she stayed at the country’s swankest [sic] hotel and, like this weekend, was traveling without her husband.

Rooms at her hotel start at $605 a night, and top out in excess of $2,000 a night.

"Moochelle": Michelle Obama's New Name

We have a name for Michelle: "Moochelle." Mooch, mooch, Moochelle Obama. That will tick 'em off, won't it, Snerdley?  

Moochelle Obama.  You compare her with the hated Sarah Palin. Moochelle Obama keeps a personal staff of 24.  Now we know why: To administer to gynecologist friends whose fathers pass away.  Her personal staff includes a makeup artist and a hairstylist, a total annual government salary of more than $1.6 million for the personal staff of Moochelle Obama, plus their travel expenses.  Her Secret Service for security is extra on these trips.  Now, you compare and contrast that with the hate and the ridicule that is thrown at Sarah Palin who did what?  She sold the governor's jet, she dismissed the government's cook, she prepared her own meals, she returned the governor's automobile and drove her own car, she dismissed the governor's security staff, and knows how to use her own gun.  So Michelle's gynecologist, her father died.  So she needed to go to Spain to sort it all out.  All right, there you have it.  That's why.

Obamas Enrich Themselves At Your Expense, Again and Again

While many of us are struggling, the First Lady is spending the next few days in a five-star hotel on the chic Costa del Sol in southern Spain with 40 of her "closest friends." According to CNN, the group is expected to occupy 60 to 70 rooms, more than a third of the lodgings at the 160-room resort. Not exactly what one would call cutting back in troubled times.

Reports are calling the lodgings of  Obama's Spanish fiesta, the Hotel Villa Padierna in Marbella, "luxurious," "posh" and "a millionaires' playground." Estimated room rate per night? Up to a staggering $2,500. Method of transportation? Air Force Two.

To be clear, what the Obamas do with their money is one thing; what they do with ours is another. Transporting and housing the estimated 70 Secret Service agents who will flank the material girl will cost the taxpayers a pretty penny.
