The vaccines were already designed by the end of January 2020 (really? sounds like a PLANDEMIC, uh oh), but Fauci behaved rationally at the time like we weren't going to have a global pandemic which would even require them?

Wallace-Wells: But if you go back in time, if you put yourself in February 2020, you’re telling Helen Branswell,⁷ for instance, that this virus was low-risk and that you didn’t want to stake your credibility on what could be a false alarm. Do you wish you had said then more emphatically that this is a real, urgent threat and that we need to stand up our defenses immediately?

Fauci: Yeah, I think, retrospectively, we certainly should have done that. If you look at what we knew at the time, though — we didn’t know that in January. We were not fully appreciative of the fact that we were dealing with a highly, highly transmissible virus that was clearly spread by ways that were unprecedented and unexperienced by us. And so it fooled us in the beginning and confused us about the need for masks and the need for ventilation and the need for inhibition of social interaction.

The US COVID-19 booster vaccine initiative has flopped so spectacularly we continue almost six months without any new data

In 2023 through 2/14, just 780,000 Americans have received at least one dose of a COVID-19 vaccine. If that rate keeps up just 7 million will get the jab this year.

In 2022, just 24.31 million received at least one dose.

This drop-off represents a stunning repudiation.

In 2021 238.68 million received at least one dose after 5.56 million did in 2020 (remember the rollout began late in the year).

As of 2/14 229.91 million have completed the initial 2-step protocol, leaving 39.42 million having received just one dose, equaling 269.33 million receiving at least one dose through 2/14/2023.

Meanwhile daily new deaths per million of population have remained buried below 2 for almost 11 consecutive months even as Americans walked away from the vaccines.

Clearly that outcome is not correlated with vaccination, since we know that the rationale for boosters is predicated on the admission by the authorities that the vaccines stop protecting recipients after a few months.

The Feds always bury the bad info in Friday afternoon data dumps when no one is paying attention

 The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention on Friday said it is “very unlikely” the Pfizer omicron booster carries a risk of stroke for seniors after it launched an investigation into a preliminary safety concern detected by one of its monitoring systems.

The CDC, in a statement posted to its website Friday, said a surveillance system called the Vaccine Safety Datalink detected a possible risk for stroke in people ages 65 and older who received the Pfizer booster shot targeting the omicron Covid variant. A CDC spokesperson said this issue was first detected in late November.

By mid-December, the CDC concluded the concern was persisting and launched an investigation into whether seniors are more likely to have a stroke in the first 21 days after receiving the Pfizer booster, the spokesperson said. A similar preliminary signal was not detected for Moderna’s booster.

The VSD monitoring system found that 130 people ages 65 and older had a stroke within 21 days of receiving the Pfizer omicron booster among about 550,000 seniors who received the shot, the CDC spokesperson said. No deaths have been reported. The Washington Post earlier reported the news. ...

The agency spokesperson said investigators hope to have a clearer picture and more data in the coming weeks.

Germany, 77.8% of which has received at least one dose of a vaccine, ranks 50th at 1975.

The United States, 80.9% of which has received at least one dose of a vaccine, ranks 12th WORST in the world at 3439.

Vaccine coverage doesn't seem obviously correlated with outcomes.
